I found that getting too caught up with results like readership and earnings really does increase our stress and negatively impacts our general sense of contentment as well as peace of mind. It's simply not healthy, and is in fact counter-productive to our efforts in our writing journey.

I think that it really makes me impatient and everything seems "right" or "wrong". So taxing.
